Xeriscaping

Xeriscaping is becoming more common to regions that do not have easily accessible, plentiful, or reliable supplies of fresh water, and is gaining acceptance in other areas as water becomes more limiting. Xeriscaping may also be an alternative to various types of traditional gardening.

Xeriscape landscaping, by definition, is landscaping designed specifically for areas that are susceptible to drought, or for properties where water conservation is practiced.

Ornamental grasses and Cacti are a few Xeriscaping options.
